March Hare was originally carved in wax before being cast into solid silver. He is highly polished and has pins on his toes which slot into the plinth. He can be removed for an occassional buff up or dust to keep him smiling. The plinth is a column of polished Blue Lias stone, dark blue/grey in colour with small inclusions of fossils. The base has four felt pads to protect surfaces. Hare stands 68mm tall weighs 27.1g and bears a sterling silver hallmark under one foot. The plinth is 95mm x 40mm, overall hieght of plinth plus hare measures 163mm tall. A unique absolute one off piece.
